Visual Adventure: Rome

Gary Arndt March 6, 2013 2

Rome is one of the most magical cities on Earth. As the center of the Roman Empire and later the headquarters of the Catholic Church, Rome is one of the most important cities in all of human history. Culture and history is oozing from every street and alley in Rome. Walk into any neighbourhood church and you will find artwork that would hang on the walls in most museums.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Rome on several occasions and I never pass up an opportunity to return. I’ll be visiting Rome again this May and you can come with me to take your own photos. Click here for details. Space is running out so act soon!

Great article. I love all of these ancient Roman buildings. Its amazing to me how they could have been so advanced back then and build these incredible buildings. I love anything to do with Roman history,
