I spent a month and a half in Vietnam in 2008. I arrived in Saigon by bus from Cambodia without a place to stay and ended up spending over a month enjoying the country. In addition to having amazing natural beauty and a long cultural history, Vietnam is probably also one of the most affordable places in the world to visit right now. Amazing food, stunning beauty and affordable travel makes Vietnam a destination which should be high on your list of places to visit.
