G Adventures is seeking a seasoned marketing leader responsible for managing a global team dedicated to building brand positioning and results driven offline and online marketing. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in marketing as well as recruiting, coaching and mentoring talent. Overseeing a diverse global marketing team in Canada, the US, UK, and Australia dedicated to both B:B and B:C marketing efforts, priority areas include brand development, CRM, online marketing, digital media, social media, and public .
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a global marketing team responsible for building a strong brand position and delivering growth objectives
- Create strong database-driven marketing programs focused on qualified lead generation and conversion; and customer loyalty
- Identify and lead the development of marketing partnerships for the purpose of budget and brand extension as well as value-added promotions
- Work with global sales staff to understand brand positioning, new strategies, products, promotions and how best to present to client base
- Interface regularly with Sales, Product and Operations to support in the design, development, and implementation of products and services
Requirements:
- 10+ years of strategic marketing experience required with at least 7 years in a leadership capacity; travel industry and global marketingexperience a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to attract, motivate, develop and energize a high-performing team
- Skilled fiscal manager with exceptional analytical skills
- Experience in CRM, Digital Marketing, SEO/SEM, Online Marketing and Brand Management
- A visionary strategist and decisive thinker with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to multi-task and establish clear priorities while meeting deadlines and budgets in a fast paced environment
- Experience with Email, CRM and SEM tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated tact and diplomacy and the ability to communicate effectively up, down and laterally within the organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Frequent travel required
- Valid passport
