Some people stumble in to a life of travel; I on the other hand was born in to it. I was 1 year old the first time I sat on plane, and I was five when I first flew by myself. Since then I have been on over 120 flights, 5 continents and 23 countries. I have travelled for business, pleasure, with friends, family, and with out; on organized tours and then sometimes just travelled on a whim. Some people work to live, others live to work, but I live to travel. G Adventures has always been and will always be the leader in adventure travel. G Adventures inspired me many years ago to travel and now that I am a part of the team, I look forward to inspiring many others to do the same. Actor Javier Bardem once told a reporter “What about being in the place where you want to be? That’s even more valuable for me.” Where do you want to be?

After graduating from the Tourism Management program at Humber College, I strapped on a backpack to get some real life experience. Having only previously been to Europe, I set out to Peru where my life forever changed, and I fell in love with adventure travel. My 'big trip' took me over the Tibetan Plateau, through the Himalayas and across the deserts of the middle east, where I was blogging about my experiences along the way. While Impossible to choose a favourite destination, I still crave the liveliness and colour of India, the food and relaxed way of life of Italy, and the endless white sand beaches of the Philippines. What most excites me is local wildlife whether it's a personable cow on the beach in Goa, or finally catching a glimpse of my first wild tiger after a week of searching. Animals often prove to be highlights for me. Along with my personal experiences, I have also worked at travel agencies and an airline and I feel I have a great understanding of the inner workings of the travel industry.

Born in a small Quebec town, the only travel I was ever exposed to when I was younger, was one week holidays to Cuba or road trips to the United States. So when I started the travel and tourism program in College and heard about adventure travel, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I got myself an internship at G Adventures and moved to Toronto, 12 hours away from home. Then they offered me a permanent position and since then I have travelled to East Africa, Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. Traveling and learning about new cultures really changed my view of the world and broadened my horizons. I can't wait to start working on your own life changing travel plans!

Born and Raised in Northern Ontario to Hippy parents, I have always had a curiosity and appreciation for the world around me. It was this curiosity that led me to a career in Travel. My first international flight was to Santiago de Cuba in 1996. It was on this trip that I discovered the truth to JRR Tolkien's quote "Not all who wander are lost"… and I became a Wanderer. My travels have taken me across North America to Hawaii, then Australia, Indonesia, South Africa, The Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. I recently completed an extensive language program in Spain which included visits to "La Mezquita" in Córdoba, and Gaudí's " La Sagrada Familia" Cathedral in Barcelona. Although I've seen some pretty spectacular sights, some of my best moments in Travel have been just hanging out with some new friends, and taking it all in. If I'm not travelling, I'm doing the next best thing - planning trips for others! I have almost 10 years experience working in the travel industry, and can't wait to see what the next 10 have in store.

I have always loved to travel. Perhaps this is the result of all the road trips my family took when I was younger, but wherever the desire to see the world came from, my journey has led me to G Adventures.
After graduating from Sheridan College, I had my first taste of the travel industry working as a travel agent in my hometown of Woodstock. After gaining some valuable experience, I knew it was time to move on and see the world. My next few years were spent exploring new destinations, working on board cruise ships and living in two of the most fascinating cities on earth; Rome and New York City.
I truly believe that travel is important because it fundamentally transforms you. If you have the time, take that trip you've been dreaming of and experience what life has to offer. Eat, drink, try new things, a new culture, step outside your comfort zone. Don’t wait or tell yourself there will be a better time to go. Take the risk. You won't be sorry.

I believe that everyone should travel because there are so many amazing cultures, different landscapes and wildlife for people to discover. Travel has always been a part of my life. My parents were both travellers and encouraged me to venture out into the great unknown. I bought my first backpack at 17 and headed off to Europe for 3 months. After that life changing trip I continued on to explore many other great countries including most of North and Central America and all of South America. I meet many wonderful people along the way, tried foods that were very delicious and saw many beautiful places. I have always wanted to be in the travel industry. Working for G Adventures allows me to combine work with my passion for travel.

I have always been fascinated by pictures from around the world. Whether the bright, rich colours of a market stall, an interesting face, an animal deep within it’s natural environment, or a stunning landscape panorama; I love it! While at school, I traveled around Canada, the United States and Europe. Not long after graduating from university, I was offered the opportunity to work abroad in Livingstone, Zambia. Of course I went! What was meant to be 11 months abroad, turned into 2 years as I traveled around and fell in love with Africa and continued my travels through Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. Traveling changed my life; it opened my eyes, heart and mind to the world around us in all it’s many dimensions.
