July 29, 2005. Toronto - Adding to our South America, Europe and Africa episodes, Asia will soon join the ranks. Our Nepal Adventure trip announced in June received tons of response, as did our request for India. To meet the demand, we have created a new, exclusive departure to India of our Slowly down the Ganges trip! So if you missed out on India and Nepal last month, this is your chance to be part of the G Adventures TV series!
Space is extremely limited to less than 10 participants. If India is your passion or at the top of your travel list, then read on for the application deadlines and requirements. Please note that all chosen participants will be required to sign a TV waiver form.
We're looking for adventurous travellers, who are looking for a bit of culture shock on a great down the Ganges river in India. Of course, we'll throw in some other great activities and destinations as well, such as the pink city of Jaipur, a camel safari and a little place called the Taj Mahal...perhaps you've heard of it? All travellers on these trips will be responsible to pay their own trip costs and airfare. G Adventures can help you book your airfare if flying from North America.
So, if you share our passion for adventure, and interest in travelling to some off-the-beaten-path destinations then India is possibly for you. Read on below, for information about the trip, and a reminder of what type of travellers we are looking for.
We do not need a show host. We want real travellers.
We do not need actors. We want real travellers.
We will not coddle you. We want real travellers.
We do want young, old, tall, short...variety!
We accept people from everywhere (US, Europe, etc.)
We will provide an authentic, grassroots, cultural experience.
We will film you for TV and provide you with your own DVD of the trip.
We have already completed filmed trips to Ecuador, Peru, Galapagos, Patagonia, Tanzania, Kenya, Morocco, Vietnam, Italy and Spain. Our record-breaking "Great Adventure People" TV series is now ready to add India to that great list. Priority is given to travellers who are there for the cultural and adventure experience, or who have a personal story to share with us about why they should travel to India. Our shows are meant to provide an insight into adventure travel, with real travellers on real trips. While our film crew makes efforts to not disturb the group atmosphere and allow you to enjoy your adventure experience, you will undoubtedly notice them from time to time.
