G Adventures supports Fashion Cares

4 Jun 2007

June 4, 2007 - Canada's largest AIDS fundraiser, Fashion Cares recently celebrated its 21st year with a spectacular event at the Distillery District in Toronto. There were live performances by Kelly Rowland, Mya and Bedouin Soundclash. G Adventures was proud to be a sponsor in both the silent and live auctions.

The charming Scottish hosts, Justin Ryan and Colin McAllister from HGTV's "How Not to Decorate" stirred up enthusiastic bids among the 3000 patrons. They auctioned off a G Adventures South American trip for two which included business class airfare compliments of Air Canada. The final bid was for $12,000! G Adventures also donated its Inca Journey trip, during the silent auction which raised $500.
