G Adventures, the world’s adventure travel leader, announces the appointment of Steve Gervais to Online Marketing Manager. Gervais joins the company from American Express where he served as Senior Marketing Analyst, Online Acquisition, for the past three years, driving search engine optimization and managing online advertising campaigns and the company’s affiliate program.

Stationed at Base Camp (AKA head office) in Toronto, the online marketing maven will help amplify the company’s well-established online presence. Steve is responsible for search engine optimization, search engine marketing, and growing online partnerships.

“Steve shares our passion for adventure travel and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience that has already proven to be a strong asset to our team,” says Richard Edwards, G Adventures’ Marketing Director.

Gervais recently returned from a six-month adventure to Central and South America where he travelled from Guatemala to Peru. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a company that echoes my hunger for adventure travel,” he says. “Combining my professional experience with my passion is a sincere pleasure.”

Founded in 1990, G Adventures has more than 800 employees and annual revenue of about $160 million.
