Visit Norway's Preacher's Pulpit cliff for great trek

If you are looking for a beautiful trek, look no further than a Norwegian cliff for a great challenge and an even better reward.
Preikestolen, or the Preacher's Pulpit, is a cliff that stands 1,982 feet above Lysefjorden in Forsand, Norway.
The hiking path starts at the Preikestolen fjellstue, the nearest car park and refuge area, which is already 886 feet above sea level. From here, hikers will then climb to heights more than 1982 feet above sea level. The best season to hike the cliff is April to October, since it is not recommended to trek when the rock is wet or iced over.
As one of the most famous attractions in Norway, thousands of people are believed to have done the 2.4 mile trek last summer. It takes about three to four hours to complete the hike, according to the Norwegian Mountain Touring Association.
While it may not seem like a long climb, the total elevation gain is more than many hikers may expect. Remember to pack long sleeves, gloves and shoes with good grip to avoid hurting yourself.
The best way to visit Norway is with a small group of adventure travelers.
