If you are looking for a more traditional Christmas feeling, the news source recommends heading to Salzburg, Austria, or Nuremberg, Germany.
Salzburg tranform's its city center into the iconic Christkindlmarkt, or Christmas Market, where you can wander through the small house-shaped stalls for the perfect handcrafted gift. Enjoy the carolers along with a cup of glogg, or mulled wine, while taking a stroll through the winding roads.
The Nuremberg Chstiamas market draws more than two million visitors a year, and features a wooden Ferris wheel that will give you magnificent views of the German city.
