One of a kind experience awaits at Phang Nga Bay

Thailand has grown to become one of the most popular adventure travel destinations in the world, and it's easy to see why. Surrounded by beautiful clear waters and populated by diverse wildlife, the country is an excellent spot for snorkeling and Phang Nga Bay is certainly a can't-miss spot.
Situated between the island of Phuket and the southern part of mainland Thailand, the bay is one of the country's most famous natural features. The bay is populated with a number of unique formations travelers can't find anywhere else, including approximately 120 strange-looking islands.
Perhaps most recognizable is the island of Ko Tapu. The 66-foot tall limestone rock is only about 13 feet wide and emerges precariously from the water. Made out of limestone, the unusual formation was famously featured in the James Bond film, "The Man with the Golden Gun."
While Ko Tapu and the bays other limestone formations are appealing, Phang Nga is also home to diverse wildlife. In particular, approximately 85 different bird species populate the area, including the endangered Malaysian Plover. There are also a number of interesting sea creatures such as the Duogong and the black finless porpoise.
