Paradise meets industry in Koh Muk

Koh Muk's natural beauty has a number of highlights that can be enjoyed during travels in Thailand. While the island is a great spot to enjoy these stunning landscapes, Koh Muk is also a great spot to see how these natural resources are used in the modern world of Thailand.
With beaches to explore and several nice coastal waters to snorkel in, one of the best-kept secrets of Koh Muk is the Tham Morakot, or the Emerald Cave. Upon entering the stunning limestone cave, visitors will trek more than 260 feet before arriving at a lovely sea lagoon.
While a journey could end here, visitors can continue to the island's gems by swimming across the lagoon, which will lead visitors to a gorgeous, secluded beach. Covered in brilliant white sands, the beach is flanked by several dominating limestone formations, including an impressive chimney.
Beyond its natural beauty, the island is also home to several rubber plantations that offer some insight into this very important world industry.
Visitors will have their range of accommodations to pick from during their visit here. With a handful of bungalows and resorts, travelers can live luxuriously on the side of the beach or rough it in the thick of the lush island vegetation.
