The Black Virgin Mountain is another spectacular place to trek while in Vietnam. The mountain features a theme park and is named after the myth of Ba Den - an old Vietnamese woman. Legend has it that Ba Den fell in love with a soldier and later died on the mountain either through betrayal or suicide. There is a famous shrine to Ba Den about two thirds of the way up the mountain - so make sure to check it out.
