Travel to Barbados for a memorable Caribbean experience

Barbados, the independent island in the Lesser Antilles, is a great place to explore, thanks to the multiple cultures that have been fused together on the small island.
With a mix of West African, Caribbean and British influences, Barbados has plenty of things to experience and see.
Head over to the Bottom Bay Beach, which is located just below one of the many jagged cliffs that offer some of the most beautiful views on the island. Watch the turquoise waves crash on the sandy white beaches while exploring the seashore.
"Breathtaking soft sandy beach, azure sea, [my first impression was] breathtaking. If my first impression changed, it only got better," Beth Alice said to CNN. Alice is an iReporter for the news source, and recently visited the island.
There is plenty to see and do on the island, from wandering through wildlife reserves to scuba and cave diving. Visit the Saint Lawrence G Adventures to explore the winding streets of the popular shopping district before heading back to the beach and watching the sun dip into the water.
The best way to explore Barbados is on a small cruise with a group of adventure travelers.
