Getting around a city can sometimes be difficult, but London has made things a little bit easier by creating a bike rental system that will allow locals and visitors alike to cycle around the city.
According to the BBC, 5,000 bikes will be available to rent from 315 various docking points around the city. Those who sign up to participate in the program will receive a key, that will need to be activated, before the rider can unlock the bike.
The keys cost £3 and the charges for the bikes range from £1per hour to £50 for 24 hours.
My crusade for the capital to become the greatest big cycling city in the, has taken a gigantic pedal-powered push forwards, Boris Johnson, mayor of London, told the news source.
Take advantage of the new program, designed and implemented by Transport for London, the next time you visit the city. Ride your bike through the winding old streets and enjoy the freedom of being able to ride across the city whenever you want.
