Adventure travelers have many choices when it comes to selecting a Greek Isle

Individuals who have planned a trip to the Greek Isles still have many choices in front of them. Every island is slightly different than the one before it, and each is better for a particular activity. Those who are interested in adventure travel should plan to island hop in order to get the most out of their vacations.
According to Lonely Planet, the isles of, Lipsi, Kefallonia, Skiathos and Mykonos have the best beaches. Crete is also a smashing good time, complete with fantastic scenery such as the gorgeous Venetian castle on the relaxing Frangokastello Beach on the southern coast. This island is also great for walking and other outdoor pursuits. Individuals should be sure to hike up to the Samaria Gorge, the longest in Europe. Here, travelers can interact with Crete's famed wild goat population.
The isle of Kos is reportedly a fantastic locale in which to cycle, as it is equipped with a seemingly endless array of gently winding country roads. Mountain bikers may enjoy Thasos better, however, due to its more exciting and varied terrain.
Regardless of which isle visitors choose to visit, they should keep in mind that this type of vacation is best undertaken with a small group of adventure travelers.
