Things you can’t miss while in Japan

Japan is known for its beautiful temples and unique history. However, modern Tokyo offers travelers a glimpse to the past and a preview of the future along winding streets lined with skyscrapers and markets.

According to CNN, there are several things, that are that visitors should not miss while in Japan.

The Tsukiji Fish Market is one of the largest fish markets in the world and is best visited early in the morning. Famous for it’s tuna auction, visitors will be escorted away from the area and directed in the opposite direction to wander through stalls of whatever fish was caught that morning. However, you can visit the auction from 5:00 - 5:40 am and from 5:40am until 6:15am. Get some of the freshest sushi in the world and feel free to wander around the city for the rest of the day, according to the news source.

If you want to show off your singing chops, enjoy some Karaoke in Roppongi. Japan is the birthplace of Karaoke, so take the time to belt out your favorite song. Those who may get a little bit of stagefright have no reason to worry, since the Japanese version karaoke means that you get to sing in the comfort of a small private room, with space for a couple of your friends or fellow travelers.

Of course, you can’t experience Japan without having some of its world famous cuisine.
