From climbing ladders and walking in toeholds to crawling through small tunnels, there’s plenty in Mesa Verde to entertain families. In addition, a Junior Ranger program encourages younger travelers to learn more about the park and its importance.
Tourist Erica Petty, 16, said, "I like how you can see how they lived then and that it’s so interactive."
One of the coolest things to do in Mesa Verde is the Badger House Community Trail, which takes travelers on a hike past four of the park's most fascinating sites.
