On April 1st 2001, after working my way around the world a couple times, I started working at G Adventures.  Living out of a backpack for a few years and pulling odd jobs, from teaching english in Taiwan to running a bar in the Greek Islands, had me thinking I needed to settle down and start a career.

I just happened to see a TV program featuring this small, cool adventure travel company out of Toronto.  I picked up the phone and told them I had just spent a couple years travelling everywhere their trips go and got myself a job answering phones and selling adventure travel holidays. 

Nine years later and I’ve done what seems like half the jobs in the place, from sales rep to marketing manager, and now product and operations. In the product and operations department our job is to ensure you get the best trip, at the best price and can’t wait to travel with G Adventures again.

Working at G Adventures I get to share my love of travel (and do a bit here and there) and have a killer career….best of both worlds.

April 1st also happens to be my wife’s birthday, who I met at G Adventures that first day of work…. She still works here too.

So ya, I guess you could say working at G Adventures has changed my life….
