The Great Outdoors are at their greatest up in Alaska. This short 8-day getaway gets your family out into the thick of it quickly, making the most of your time in the wilds of America’s extreme northwest. Up here, you’ll kayak the shores of Resurrection Bay with an eye peeled for otters, bald eagles and maybe even whales, then head off to hike the Kenai Peninsula’s glacial icefields. Later, we’ll ferry you across beautiful Kachemak Bay for lunch in the shadow of a stunning glacier. Welcome to nature at its purest.

Day 1 Anchorage (1D)

Arrive any time. Arrival transfer and welcome dinner included.

Day 2 Girdwood (1B,1L)

Drive down the Seward Highway along Turnagain Arm to the town of Girdwood. Take a tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska for lunch and enjoy a hike on the Winner Creek Trail in the afternoon.

Day 3 Seward (1B,1L)

Continue along to Seward. En route visit Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center to observe animals. Walk the trails along Exit Glacier.

Day 4 Seward (1B,1L)

Explore the beautiful scenery with a paddle around Resurrection Bay. The afternoon is free to explore Seward at leisure, with the option to visit the Alaska SeaLife Center.

Day 5 Homer (1B,1L)

Follow the Sterling Highway to Homer along the Kenai River. Stop in Cooper Landing for an afternoon float along the Kenai River.

Day 6 Homer (1B,1L)

Enjoy a scenic boat ride across Kachemak Bay followed by a short hike in Kachemak Bay State Park. Return this afternoon to Homer Spit, where your time is free to explore.

Day 7 Homer/Anchorage (1B,1L,1D)

Visit the Wynn Nature Center and follow the trails in search of wildflowers and moose. Transfer to Anchorage this afternoon.

Day 8 Anchorage (1B)

Transfer to the airport, depart at any time.
