Day 1 Cairo
Welcome to Alex! Her vast history, unique Mediterranean location, and distinctly European feel, set Alexandra apart from other Egyptian cities. Wander the seaside corniche, perhaps stopping to enjoy a coffee at one of the many Europian style cafes. In the evening, why not head to one of the city's seafood restaurants for an unforgettable dining experience.
Day 2 Cairo (B)
Enjoy a full day tour exploring the sights of this beautiful city. Wander the fort and citadel of Qait Bay, said to be built from the stones of the Pharaoh's Lighthouse. Learn the history behind Pompey's Pillar and who is buried in the underground Catacombs.
Travel back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel (overnight not included) or the airport for your onward travel.
