Journey to the top of Bolivia and Peru and discover the wild and wonderful splendours of the Altiplano on this month-long adventure. Travel to the world's largest salt lake, the highest capital city and one of the world's deepest canyons. Overnight with a local family at Lake Titicaca for an immersive cultural experience that few travellers get to know before trekking the Inca Trail to legendary Machu Picchu for stunning views that will you breathless. With an intriguing combination of included activities and free time to explore on your own, your CEOs will lead you off the beaten path to discover the vibrant cultures and lofty scenery of South America.

Day 1 La Paz

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-4 Sucre

Fly to Sucre. Options include a short side trip to the site of 60 million year-old dinosaur tracks.

Day 5 Potosí

Travel by bus to Potosí. Optional excursion to a working silver mine or free time to explore the city.

Day 6-8 Uyuni / Salt Flats

Bus trip to Uyuni. Three day 4x4 excursion to the Salar de Uyuni and surrounding desert altiplano with spectacular scenery.

Day 9 Night Bus / Train To La Paz

Travel by bus and train to La Paz.

Day 10-11 La Paz

Optional city tour and free time to explore the markets and winding streets.

Day 12-14 Puno / Lake Titicaca (B,L,D)

Travel by bus through the altiplano, crossing the border, to the Peruvian city of Puno on the shore of Lake Titicaca. For the next 2 days, Visit to the floating Islands of Uros and guided tour of Lake Titicaca with a Homestay in a small village. Optional visit to Sillustani burial site.

Day 15-18 Cuzco

Travel to Cuzco. The next 3 days are free to enjoy a city tour, the city's museums or local markets. Relax and explore the sights and sounds of Cuzco. Rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking are all possible options.

Day 19 Ollantaytambo

Full day tour of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo, including a visit to a local community and various inca ruins.

Day 20-23 Inca Trail to Machu Picchu (3B,3L,3D)

4-day guided Inca Trail hike with visit to Machu Picchu. Optional visit to the Inca Bridge before returning to Cuzco.

Day 24 Arequipa

Fly to Arequipa. Free afternoon to explore the city or take an optional tour of the Catalina Convent.

Day 25-27 Colca Canyon / Arequipa / Night bus

Guided tour to Colca Canyon to spot condors. Optional visit to local hot springs. Drive back to Arequipa before boarding an overnight bus to Nazca.

Day 28 Nazca

Guided tour of Nazca desert cemetery and potters studio. Optional flight over the Nazca Lines.

Day 29 Pisco

Travel to Pisco. En route stop at a winery and at the Oasis of Huacachina. Optional Sandboarding.

Day 30 Lima

Optional visit to Ballestas Islands before travelling to Lima by bus.

Day 31 Lima

Depart at any time.
