Day 1 Lima
Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included.
Day 2 Iquitos (B,D)
Fly to Iquitos. Included city tour and transfer to the boat. Cast off on the Amazon River.
Day 3 Marañon/Amazon/Ucayali Rivers (B,L,D)
Boat and land excursions to spot flora and fauna.
Days 4-5 Marañon River/Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (2B,2L,2D)
Excursions to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve for wildlife viewing and the chance to interact with the locals. Onboard presentations and discussions about wildlife. Meet a shaman. Opportunity for canopy walk.
Day 6 Marañon River/Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (B,L,D)
Early morning excursion and picnic breakfast. Opportunities for piraña fishing and excursions by dugout canoe. Chance for swimming. Attend a jungle cooking lesson to learn about and sample local cuisine.
Day 7 Nauta/Sapisapi River (B,L,D)
Call at the port of Nauta. Tour the town and local markets. Afternoon excursion to search for wildlife before an evening dinner party.
Day 8 Nauta/Lima
Disembark at Nauta. Included visit to a manatee rescue centre before transferring to the airport for the flight back to Lima. Free afternoon.
Days 9-10 Puno/Lake Titicaca (2B)
Flight to Juliaca and transfer to Puno. Visit to the floating Islands of Uros and guided tour of Lake Titicaca.
Days 11-12 Cuzco (2B)
Private vehicle to Cuzco. Free day to explore the city. Active options include rafting, horseback riding and mountain biking.
Day 13 Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo (B,L)
Full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo ruins. Shop at a local market.
Day 14 Aguas Calientes (B)
Train to Aguas Calientes. Optional visit to local hot springs and shopping opportunities. Those who have chosen the option in advance to hike the "1-day Inca Trail" will disembark the train at km 104 and trek to the Sun Gate and Machu Picchu, before re-joining the group at Aguas Calientes for the night.
Day 15 Machu Picchu/Cuzco (B)
Guided tour of Machu Picchu. Optional visit to the Inca Bridge.
Day 16 Lima (B)
Fly back to Lima. Optional city tour.
