Day 1 Lima

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included.

Day 2 Iquitos/Amazon Riverboat (1B,1L,1D)

Fly to Iquitos. Included city tour, visit to a manatee rescue centre and transfer to the boat. Cast off on the Amazon River.

Day 3 Marañon/Amazon/Ucayali Rivers (1B,1L,1D)

Boat and land excursions to spot flora and fauna.

Days 4-5 Marañon River/Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (2B,2L,2D)

Wildlife viewing including onboard presentations and discussions. Meet a shaman. Opportunity for canopy walk.

Day 6 Marañon River/Pacaya Samiria National Reserve (1B,1L,1D)

Early morning excursion and picnic breakfast. Opportunities for piraña fishing and excursions by dugout canoe. Chance for swimming. Attend a jungle cooking lesson and sample local cuisine.

Day 7 Nauta/Sapisapi River (1B,1L,1D)

Tour the town and local markets. Afternoon excursion to search for wildlife before an evening dinner party.

Day 8 Iquitos/Lima (1B)

Disembark at Iquitos, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Lima. Free afternoon.

Days 9-10 Puno/Lake Titicaca (2B)

Flight to Juliaca and transfer to Puno. Visit to the floating Islands of Uros and guided tour of Lake Titicaca.

Days 11-12 Cuzco (2B)

Private vehicle to Cuzco. Free day to explore the city.

Day 13 Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo (1B,1L)

Full day guided tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas including the Pisac ruins and market, a visit to the Planeterra women's weaving project in a local community and the Ollantaytambo ruins. Option for shopping at a local market.

Day 14 Aguas Calientes (1B)

Catch our train and enjoy stunning scenery as we follow the Urubamba Valley to Aguas Calientes. Option to visit the local hot springs and market. Those who have pre-booked and purchased the '1-day Inca Trail' hike will disembark the train at km 104 and trek to the Sun Gate and Machu Picchu, before re-joining the group at Aguas Calientes for the night.

Day 15 Machu Picchu/Cuzco (1B)

Guided tour of Machu Picchu.

Day 16 Lima (1B)

Fly back to Lima.

Day 17 Lima (1B)

Depart at any time.
