The adventure concludes in sophisticated Buenos Aires with a visit to a Planeterra project that trains youth in gourmet cooking, then into Uruguay for two nights at an estancia. Cross the Andes into Argentina and arrive to Mendoza, in the heart of the wine growing region.
Enjoy 3 days of exploration, participation and sampling of the Mendoza region and its wineries. Full day wine tour from Mendoza including a visit to 3 different top area wineries including a gourmet lunch, as well as an included cooking class. One of the nights is spent at a vineyard outside of Mendoza with opportunities for tastings and tours of the facilities. There will be free time for optional activities from Mendoza like a city tour or active options like hiking or cycling.
Fly to Buenos Aires. Visit to a Planeterra project outside of the city to see the empowerment and apprenticeship of youth through the culinary arts. Enjoy cooking demonstrations and lunch at the school. Opt to enjoy a wine tasting and a tango dinner show.
Catch the ferry to Colonia, Uruguay and transfer to the rural estancia, our guest ranch for the next two nights. Enjoy homemade meals from local ingredients and delicious barbeque while acquainting yourself with gaucho life and traditions. Free time for optional activities on-site like hiking, relaxing and horseback riding.
Return to Buenos Aires for our final evening with option to visit a closed-door gourmet restaurant.
