Day 1 San Pedro
You are met at the Calama airport and taken to the hotel before exploring San Pedro de Atacama, one of the driest environments on earth. Enjoy fascinating displays of mummified objects and some excellent bird-spotting opportunities at San Pedro de Atacama. In Arica, examine gigantic, ancient geoglyphs and petroglyphs.
Day 2-3 San Pedro (B,L)
Spend the next two days exploring San Pedro. The Atacama is not only the driest, but also the highest desert on earth. For this reason, the year-round climate is pleasant and the transparency of light is unique. The outlandish geography of volcanoes, salt flats and high altitude wetlands has an unparalleled appeal and can be found nowhere else on earth.
Day 4 San Pedro (B,L)
Perhaps venture out on your last quick exploration of San Pedro before checking out of the hotel to be taken to Calama's airport.
