Enjoy an orientation walk around the rocks and harbour with free time to explore.
Morning flight to Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the Red Centre. Take the Mala Walk (1.5 hrs) then visit the cultural centre and experience sunset at the rock before a barbecue dinner.
Get up for a stunning sunrise then head to Kata Tjuta for the Valley of the Winds walk (3 hrs). Enjoy a picnic lunch before driving to Kings Creek Station– a working cattle station– to sleep in a traditional swag under the stars.
Early start for the Rim Walk at Kings Canyon, taking in the best scenery of the area, before a drive to Alice Springs and flight to Cairns. Travel north to Cape Tribulation.
Take an optional trip to the Great Barrier Reef, or explore the Daintree National Park. On Day 7, Stop en route to go spear fishing with the local aborigines, visit an indigenous artist, listen to dreamtime stories and take an interpretive rainforest walk.
