Day 1 San Francisco

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Yosemite National Park (1B,1L,2D)

Enjoy an orientation tour of San Francisco. Marvel at spectacular views of Yosemite's peaks and granite domes. Take hikes to majestic waterfalls, lakes and meadows and walk amongst giant sequoias.

Day 4 Bishop (1B,1L,1D)

Awe at the spectacular scenery along the Tioga Pass. Marvel at tufa rock towers at Mono Lake. Soak it up in secluded hot springs.

Day 5-6 Death Valley National Park/Las Vegas (1B,1L)

Visit the hottest, driest and lowest point in North America: Death Valley. Explore Las Vegas along the famous Vegas Strip. Optional VIP limo ride.

Day 7-8 Grand Canyon National Park (1B,2L,2D)

Trek surrounded by awe-inspiring views and take to the skies on an optional helicopter flight for a bird's-eye view of the canyon.

Day 9-10 Monument Valley/Mesa Verde National Park/Durango (2B,2L,1D)

Learn about Navajo culture and consider an optional Navajo-led 4x4 excursion tour. Explore the lives of the ancestral Pueblo people on a guided hike to cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde.

Day 11-12 Santa Fe/Carlsbad (2B,1L,1D)

Take in southwest culture in Santa Fe then explore the Carlsbad Caverns on a guided tour, dodging the 400,000 bats heading out to hunt at sunset.

Day 13-14 San Antonio/The Alamo/Houston (2B,2L,2D)

Cool off in the clear waters of Paradise Canyon, check out historic San Antonio and the Alamo.

Day 15-16 New Orleans (1B)

Listen to some jazz tunes on an orientation tour of New Orleans. Take an optional swamp tour or cruise the Mississippi on a steamboat. Make sure you don't miss a night out on Bourbon Street.

Day 17-18 Memphis/Nashville (1B,2L,1D)

Opt to relive history at the National Civil Rights Museum—located where Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated or take an optional tour of the Rock & Soul Museum. Choose to tour Elvis' Graceland and opt to see a live show on Beale Street at night. Once in Nashville opt to immerse yourself in country music at one of the local hangouts.

Day 19 Appalachia (1B,1L,1D)

Travel the beautiful winding roads through the Appalachian Mountains. Trek along one of the trails in the park.

Day 20-21 Shenandoah National Park/Washington DC (2B,1L,1D)

Pass through Shenandoah en route to DC. Explore the capital of the US and the city that the President calls home. Tour the monuments and visit the National Mall and its many free museums.

Day 22 New York (1B,1L)

Travel to NYC, grabbing a philly cheesesteak for lunch on the way. Enjoy an orientation tour of Times Square, seeing Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, 5th Avenue and the NYC library. Check out the famous nightlife in the Big Apple.

Day 23-24 New York/Newburgh/Finger Lakes (1B,1L,2D)

Explore your favourite highlights of the city. Take an optional boat tour to Liberty Island, ride to the top of the Empire State Building or grab a coffee in Brooklyn. Visit towering Taughannock Falls and opt to rent a canoe.

Day 25-26 Niagara Falls/Cleveland/Sandusky (2B,2L,2D)

Get wet on the famous Maid of the Mist boat tour. Once in Cleveland, opt to tour the famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and continue to Sandusky for the night.

Day 27-28 Chicago (1B)

See the sights on an orientation tour. Stroll along the boardwalk of the Navy Pier or consider riding to the top of Willis (formerly Sears) Tower, then hit the town for some great music and nightlife.

Day 29-30 Wisconsin/Sioux Falls/Kennebec (1B,1L,2D)

Tour the Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee and explore charming Madison, then camp on the banks of the Mississippi. Head west into Sioux territory and the Great Plains.

Day 31-33 Badlands National Park/Custer (3B,3L,2D)

Discover moon-like landscapes on the trails of Badlands. Enjoy a night under the stars in this unique environment. Dodge free-roaming bison herds while hiking in Custer Park. Visit Mount Rushmore, and opt for a hot air balloon excursion.

Day 34-35 Devil's Tower/Cody (2B,1L,2D)

Step back in time to the Wild West at Deadwood. Marvel at the scenery of Spearfish Canyon and Bighorn National Forest. Opt to go to an authentic rodeo (seasonal).

Day 36-37 Yellowstone National Park (2B,2L,2D)

Travel to Yellowstone, home to the most wild animals in the US. Tour the Northern Loop—discover wildlife, Mammoth Hot Springs, Norris Geyser Basin. Take the South Loop—Old Faithful, and Lake Village. Time for hikes and exploration.

Day 38-39 Grand Teton National Park/Jackson/Salt Lake (2B,2L,1D)

Embark on an optional boat ride on Jenny Lake and visit the One Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.

Day 40-42 Tonopah/Yosemite National Park (2B,2L,2D)

Travel on the 'Loneliest Road in America'. Marvel at spectacular views of the park's peaks and granite domes. Take hikes to majestic waterfalls, lakes and meadows and walk amongst giant sequoias.

Day 43 San Francisco (1B)

Leave the wildlife and complete our full loop, back to San Francisco's bright lights. Visit the sights, take an optional cable car ride, rent a bike and explore or opt to indulge in sunset sailing.
