Day 1 Buenos Aires
Arrive at any time.
Day 2,3 Salta
Fly to Salta. Included scenic van ride following the route of the 'Train to the Clouds.' Optional activities include mountain biking, exploring the city and surroundings and enjoying the local cuisine.
Day 4,5 San Pedro de Atacama
Travel by bus to San Pedro de Atacama. Optional excursions to nearby ruins, mountain biking, or a visit to the Valley of the Moon.
Day 6-8 4x4 Atacama Desert Crossing Excursion/Uyuni (2B,2L,2D)
Ascend into the mountains by bus and cross into Bolivia. Three day 4x4 excursion to the Salar de Uyuni and surrounding desert altiplano with spectacular scenery.
Day 9 Potosí
Travel by bus to Potosí. Optional excursion to a working silver mine or free time to explore the city.
Day 10,11 La Paz
Overnight bus journey to La Paz. Optional city tour and free time to explore the markets and winding streets.
