This quick trip across South America takes you from the tango palaces of Buenos Aires to the Incan spirit of La Paz and gets you off the beaten path and into the extraordinary. Journey across the surreal landscapes of the Atacama Desert and the salt flats of Salar de Uyuni—this desolate region is like nowhere else on earth and a remote treasure that you’ll never forget. Day 1 Buenos Aires

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Salta

Fly to Salta. Included day trip through the scenic Quebrada de las Conchas to Cafayate. Optional activities include the High Mountain Arqueological museum, exploring the city and surroundings and enjoying the local cuisine.

Day 4-5 San Pedro de Atacama

Travel by bus to San Pedro de Atacama. Optional excursions to nearby ruins, mountain biking, or a visit to the Valley of the Moon.

Day 6-8 Salt Flats/Uyuni (2B,3L,2D)

Ascend into the mountains by bus and cross into Bolivia. Three day 4x4 excursion to the Salar de Uyuni and surrounding desert altiplano with spectacular scenery.

Day 9 Potosí

Travel by bus to Potosí. Optional excursion to a working silver mine or free time to explore the city.

Day 10-11 Potosí/La Paz

Overnight bus journey to La Paz. Optional city tour and free time to explore the markets and winding streets.

Day 12 La Paz

Depart at any time.
