Day 1 Kuching

Arrive at any time.

Days 2-3 Bako National Park (B)

Minivan to Bako Pier. 30-min boat ride to National Park. Proboscis Monkeys, waterfalls and guided night walk.

Day 4 Kuching/Mulu National Park

Morning boat from Bako to pier. Transfer to Kuching Airport. Late morning flight to Mulu. Deer Cave and optional canopy walk.

Days 5 Mulu National Park-Camp 5 (B,D)

Local longboat ride and trekking. Visit Clearwater and Wind Cave.

Day 6 Headhunters Trail/Iban Longhouse (B,L,D)

Transfer by boat then trekking the Headhunters Trail. Overnight in a traditional Iban longhouse.

Day 7 Limbang (B)

Longboat trip followed by mini-van transfer to Limbang. Optional visit to Buak Buak Mud Springs, try the tasty Red Durian.

Day 8 Palau Labuan (B)

Depart early on the Royal Limbang #1 ferry service to the duty free island of Palau Labuan. Options for wreck diving or snorkelling.

Day 9-10 Kota Kinabalu (B)

Ferry to Jesselton Pier then minivan to hotel. Option for snorkelling or diving the Marine Park.

Day 11 Kinabalu National Park (B)

Travel to Mt Kinabalu. Option to hike trails.

Days 12-13 Mount Kinabalu (2B,2L,1D)

Climb Mt Kinabalu for sunrise.

Days 14-15 Kinabatangan River (2B,2L,2D)

Travel up the Kinabatangan River. Afternoon animal spotting cruise. Optional nighttime cruise.

Day 16 Sepilok (B)

Visit Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre.

Day 17 Selingan Island (B,L,D)

Boat trip and overnight on Selingan (Turtle) Island.

Day 18 Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu (B)

Visit Sandakan POW Memorial Park. Option to visit Sandakan town. Afternoon flight to Kota Kinabalu.

Day 19 Kota Kinabalu (B)
