Day 1 Rio de Janeiro

Arrive at any time. Airport arrival transfer included.

Day 2 Rio de Janeiro (1B)

Enjoy the sights on an included half day city tour. Try your hand at the Brazilian martial art, capoeira, during an included class in the afternoon.

Day 3 Ilha Grande (1B, 1D)

Travel to Angra dos Reis to board a ferry to Brazil's famous island, Ilha Grande. Enjoy a free afternoon to visit the local beaches, hike the well-marked trails or do some shopping.

Day 4 Ilha Grande (1B)

Free morning to explore more of the island. Embark on an included sunset cruise around the picturesque bay. Opt for a seafood dinner on the beach at night.

Day 5 Iguassu Falls (1B)

Take the ferry back to Angra dos Reis and transfer to Rio. Afternoon flight to Iguassu. Arrive at the hotel and opt for a dinner at a local Brazilian churrascaria.

Day 6 Iguassu Falls (1B)

See the impressive Iguassu Falls from the Brazilian side today. Afterwards enjoy an included visit to the local bird park which is home to several macaws, toucans and scarlet ibis. Children will love the chance to see these birds in their tropical habitat.

Day 7 Iguassu Falls (1B)

A full day excursion to the Argentine side of the falls. See the magnificent Garganta del Diablo and take a boat ride to feel the power of the falls as you get soaking wet.

Day 8 Buenos Aires (1B)

Fly to Buenos Aires, where we have the rest of the day free to explore the city at leisure. This most cosmopolitan of Latin American cities is a real mix of cultures and people, and well worth exploring.

Day 9 Estancia (1B, 1L, 1D)

This morning we leave the city in favour of Uruguayan rural life. Slow down the pace and enjoy the next three nights at a working ranch.

Day 10 Estancia (1B, 1L, 1D)

Take advantage of the included activities on offer at the Estancia - fishing, walking the local trails, and touring the local cheese factory are some of the examples of what's in store. A local asado (barbeque) is the perfect way to end an adventurous day.

Day 11 Estancia (1B, 1L, 1D)

Opt to head for a hike or go horseback riding. Enjoy your last night at the ranch by indulging in local wine and cuisine.

Day 12 Buenos Aires (1B)

Transfer back to Buenos Aires and opt to have dinner in one of the charming neighbourhoods.

Day 13 Buenos Aires (1B, 1D)

Guided half day city tour in the morning. Pass all of the important historical sights and visit Buenos Aires most colourful, artistic neighbourhood, La Boca. Celebrate the last night in style during an included tango show experience complete with lessons and a 3-course meal.

Day 14 Buenos Aires (1B)
