Day 1 San Francisco

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 San Francisco/Big Sur (1B, 1L, 2D)

Take in the sites on an orientation tour of San Francisco. Wind the roads of the coast, checking out Big Sur and Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Enjoy a campfire at Cachuma Lake.

Day 4-6 Los Angeles/San Diego (2B, 1L, 2D)

Take in the sights on orientation tours of LA and San Diego. Opt to check out Universal Studies or surf the waves of the Pacific coast.

Day 7 Scottsdale (1B, 1L)

Visit the Imperial Sand Dunes, the largest mass of sand dunes in California. Travel to Scottsdale for a real southwest cowboy town experience.

Day 8-9 Grand Canyon National Park (1B, 2L, 2D)

Visit Montezuma Castle. Enjoy dinner at the canyon rim at sunset. Hike and explore the 'Grandest of Canyons', and take an optional helicopter flight for a bird's-eye view.

Day 10-11 Lake Powell/Monument Valley (2B, 2L, 1D)

Visit the Glen Canyon Dam. Take an optional tour of Antelope Canyon. Learn about Navajo culture at Monument Valley and opt for a 4x4 excursion with a Navajo guide.

Day 12-13 Moab (2B, 1L, 1D)

Hike in Canyonlands National Park, take in sunset at Dead Horse Point and visit the rock formations of Arches National Park. Opt to go whitewater rafting or mountain biking.

Day 14 Bryce Canyon National Park (1B, 1L, 1D)

Drive along isolated Scenic Byway 12. Learn about the Fremont culture and view petroglyphs at Capitol Reef National Park. See how it's done on an optional rodeo visit (seasonal).

Day 15-16 Zion National Park/Las Vegas (1B, 1L)

Get your legs moving on hikes in Zion National Park. Explore Las Vegas along the famous Vegas Strip. Optional VIP limo ride.

Day 17 Death Valley National Park/Bishop (1L, 1D)

Visit the hottest, driest and lowest point in North America: Death Valley. Stargaze at secluded hot springs.

Day 18-19 Yosemite National Park (2B, 2L, 2D)

Walk among the tufa towers at Mono Lake and marvel at the park's peaks, granite domes and giant sequoias. Hike to majestic waterfalls, lakes and meadows. Opt to cycle in Yosemite Valley.

Day 20 Napa Valley/Petaluma (1B, 1L, 1D)

Trade in rugged wilderness for the vineyards of beautiful Napa Valley. Enjoy a picnic lunch, optional wine tasting and an opt for a canoeing trip on the scenic Napa River.

Day 21 San Francisco (1B)

Check out Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge on an orientation tour. Take an optional cable car ride over the steep hills, explore the city by bicycle or set sail to the setting sun.
