Day 1 Cuzco

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo/Cuzco

Full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo ruins along with a visit to a Planeterra weaving project in a local community. Shopping opportunities at a local market before returning to Cuzco.

Days 3-5 Choquequirao (2B,3L,3D)

Transfer to Cachora and embark on the trek to the fortress of Choquequirao, supported by expert guides and cooks. Spend almost two days at the ruins with an expert local guide to learn about the rich history and ancient culture.

Days 6-10 Santa Teresa/Aguas Calientes (5B,5L,4D)

Continue trekking past Choquequirao with the team of guides, herdsman and cooks through the Andes following Inca pathways, arriving to Santa Teresa on Day 10. Transfer by train to Aguas Calientes for the night.

Day 11 Machu Picchu/Cuzco

Guided tour of Machu Picchu and optional visit to the Inca Bridge before returning to Cuzco.
