Full-day guided tour of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo ruins along with a visit to a Planeterra-supported women's weaving project in a local community. Visit the Planeterra-supported Sacred Valley Community Restaurant in Huchuy Qosco, an indigenous village. Shopping opportunities at a local market.
Transfer to Cachora and embark on the trek to the fortress of Choquequirao, supported by expert guides and cooks. Spend almost two days at the ruins with an expert local guide to learn about the rich history and ancient culture.
Continue trekking past Choquequirao with the team of guides, herdsman, and cooks through the Andes following Inca pathways, arriving to Santa Teresa on Day 10. Transfer by train to Aguas Calientes for the night.
