Day 1 Yangon
Arrive anytime today.
Day 2 Golden Rock (1B)
Visit the incredible Shwedagon Temple and then hike to Golden Rock.
Day 3 Bago/Yangon (1B)
Explore Bago, old capital of the Mon People and home to the biggest reclining Buddha in Burma.
Days 4-6 Mandalay (3B)
Fly to Mandalay then explore its ancient temples and other beautiful sites such as the Golden Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mahamuni Temple. While here, visit nearby ancient royal capital of Amarapura where you can opt to traverse the world's longest teak bridge before continuing on to the village of Mingun.
Days 7-9 Bagan (3B)
We cruise down the Irrawady River to ancient Bagan. Included visit to the ancient site which includes hundreds of temples and stupas. Visit the Nyaung U market.
Day 10 Kalaw (1B)
A long drive takes us to the cooler air of this former British hill station. Enroute we visit Mt. Popa.
Days 11-12 Inle Lake (2B)
Travel by bus to serene Inle, home to the Intha people and floating villages and gardens, stopping en route to visit the Pindaya Caves. Explore the lake by boat and visit some of its floating villages before checking out the Phaung Daw Oo pagoda and the Nge Phe Chaung monastery.
Day 13 Yangon (1B)
Fly back to Yangon for a final chance to explore and shop in the old capital.
