Day 1 Beijing (1D)

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included and Beijing Duck welcome dinner.

Day 2 Beijing (1B,1L)

Visit to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall with lunch and an introductory language lesson.

Day 3 Beijing/Overnight Train (1B,1L)

Explore the famed Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City with free time in the afternoon. Overnight soft-sleeper train to Xi'an.

Day 4 Xi'an (1B,1D)

Tour of Xi'an including the Wild Goose Pagoda and Terracotta Warriors. Traditional dinner this evening. Option to take a bike ride around the city walls and go shopping.

Day 5 Hangzhou (1B)

Fly to Hangzhou. Orientation walk of Hangzhou along the world-famous West Lake. Visit the Longjing plantation and learn about ancient tea production and taste some freshly brewed tea.

Day 6 Wuzhen Canal Town/Shanghai (1B,1L)

Visit Wuzhen ancient canal town where we explore and have lunch. Travel to Shanghai and take an orientation walk along the Bund.

Day 7 Shanghai (1B,1D)

Start the morning with tai chi on the Bund. Visit to Shanghai Museum and watch an acrobats show. Traditional Shanghai farewell dinner this evening.

Day 8 Shanghai (1B)
