Day 1 Quito
Deep in the heart of the Mindo Valley you will transfer to an extraordinary lodge, situated in one of Ecuador’s beautiful cloud forests for your two-night stay. Discover the natural habitat’s beauty, home to countless endemic species of plants and birds. This bird watching paradise is ranked by Bird Life International as, “The first area in South America in importance for birds.” The forest is also abundant in wild orchids.
Day 2 Mindo (B)
Explore the forest and enjoy the array of outdoor activities. It’s highly recommended that you walk, hike, swim and bird watch. Other popular outdoor diversions include optional horseback riding, river-tubing and canopying.
Day 3 Quito (B)
Enjoy the morning before your transfer back to Quito.
