Here, you’ll spend five life-changing days studying the flora and fauna that inhabit the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve and Manuel Antonio National Park. Itinerary Notes

This trip is designed for parents and children to enjoy together. You will be travelling as part of a group of families with other children. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind. We have given this trip a minimum age for this trip to allow you to be sure that you have the right trip for you and your family. Minimum age of 5 years for this trip. Please see the activities for any specific minimum age requirements.

Day 1 San José

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer included.

Day 2-3 La Fortuna/Arenal (2B)

Relax in your hotel's hot springs and enjoy tortilla making along with a typical lunch with a local family. Options to go rafting, waterfall rappelling or floating through the Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge.

Day 4-5 Monteverde (2B)

Guided nature hike in the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve. Options to visit a butterfly garden, zipline through the canopy or go horseback riding.

Day 6-7 Manuel Antonio National Park (2B)

Visit Manuel Antonio National Park. Included surf lesson, free day for optional activities or to just enjoy the beach before spending the night in San Jose.

Day 8 San José (B)

Return to San Jose this morning, where the trip ends.
