Day 1 Split

Arrive at any time.

Days 2-3 Hvar (2B)

Cross to the beautiful island of Hvar by ferry this morning. Crossing from the port to Hvar town where yachts and old Venetian buildings fill the harbour. Across the next couple of days, enjoy the cycling routes around the island, stopping off at gold-sand beaches and passing through little villages on the way. The routes are hilly and there is some good climbing involved, but Hvar is a great place to relax at the end of a hard day's cycle, especially with the option to try some of the locally produced wine. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure on Day 3.

Days 4-5 Korcula (2B)

Continue through the islands of the Dalmatian Coast by ferry to the island of Korcula. A base among the terracotta roofs of Korcula town is a great way to explore the island by bike. Across two days, follow the trails around one of the greenest of Croatia's islands and up into the hills for spectacular views down along the coast.

Day 6 Ston/Dubrovnik (1B)

Return to the mainland by ferry and cycle along the Peljesac peninsula. Continue cycling along the coast to Ston. Along the way, the remarkable stone wall that surrounds the village becomes more visible. Upon arrival in Ston, there is time to explore the wall before transferring to Dubrovnik.

Day 7 Dubrovnik (1B)

Transfer to Konavle Valley and cycle past old water mills and vineyards, stopping along the way to sample some locally produced wine.

Day 8 Dubrovnik (1B)
