Day 1 Lima
Arrive at any time.
Day 2 Lima / Night Bus
Free day in Lima for an optional city tour or individual exploration before boarding a nightbus north to Huanchaco.
Day 3-6 Huanchaco / Night bus / Mancora
Optional activities in Huanchaco include a visit pre-inca sites such as Huaca de la Luna and Chan Chan, visit nearby Trujillo, surf lessons or relax on the beach. Continue by overnight bus further north to Mancora for some optional surfing, horseback riding or relaxing on the beach.
Day 7-8 Cuenca
Travel by bus and cross the border into Ecuador, arriving at Cuenca. Optional day trips to Cajas National Park or to the Inca ruins of Ingapirca.
Day 9-10 Baños
Continue by bus to Baños. Numerous outdoor optional activities available like hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking, or soak in the nearby hot springs.
Day 11 - 14 Amazon Jungle Homestay / Quito (3B,3L,3D)
Travel by bus to the jungle city of Tena, then continue by truck and motorized canoe to a local community in the jungle. 3 days of guided nature walks to spot wildlife and to learn about the traditions of life in the jungle while staying in a homestay. Carry on by bus to Quito on day 15.
Day 15 Quito
Free day in Quito for individual exploration or time to relax. Optional activities include a day trip to the "Middle of the World" monument, a cable car ride up a nearby volcano or a city tour, among others.
Day 16 Quito
Depart at any time.
