Spend time volunteering with one of our projects in Laos and Cambodia and you'll take away so much more than souvenirs or photographs—you'll engage the local community with building and education initiatives. And you’ll still have the opportunity to explore incredible ruins at Angkor Wat and experience French influences in riverside cafes. Whether you're marveling at stunning scenery, Buddhist monasteries or the face of a smiling child, this journey will allow you to dig deep into the people and culture of South East Asia.

Day 1 Bangkok

Arrive in Bangkok at any time.

Day 2-6 Siem Reap (5B)

Guided tour of Angkor Wat temple complex. Three days volunteer work at NGO New Hope.

Day 7 Kratie (B)

Option to see the Irrawaddy dolphins.

Day 8 Don Deng (D)

Mekong Island homestay. Option to bike, swim or stroll around the village.

Day 9-11 Luang Prabang (3B)

Flight from Pakse–Luang Prabang on Day 9. Visit a local NGO. Optional Pak Ou Caves, Royal Palace Museum, temple visits, Kuang-Sii Waterfall, cooking school, elephant ride.

Day 12 Vang Vieng (B)

Optional bike rides, swimming, cave exploring, countryside visits.

Day 13 Vientiane

Brief stop in the capital Vientiane before crossing the border into Thailand. Overnight train to Bangkok.

Day 14 Bangkok

Optional Wat Po and Grand Palace visit.

Day 15 Bangkok (B)

Depart at any time.
