Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 Baltra/ Black Turtle Cove (B,L,D)
Fly to Baltra and transfer to the boat. Excursion to the mangrove surrounded inlets of Black Turtle Cove where we can view various bird and marine life.
Day 3 Floreana (B,L,D)
Visit to Floreana Island with a historical lecture at Post Office Bay and and wildlife viewing at Punta Cormorant. Snorkeling excursion at the Corona del Diablo or Devil's Crown, the broken remains of a partially submerged volcanic cone.
Day 4 Española (B,L,D)
Excursions to Gardner Bay and Punta Suarez on Española Island in search of seal lions, reef sharks and numerous sea bird colonies. Guided lectures while observing wildlife and opportunities for swimming and snorkeling.
Day 5 Santa Cruz (B,L,D)
Disembark in Puerto Ayora and visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn more about natural history and to see the giant Galapagos tortoises. Take an excursion to the Santa Cruz Highlands and free time for shopping or exploration of Puerto Ayora.
Day 6 Cerro Dragón / Rábida (B,L,D)
Land at Cerro Dragón on Santa Cruz Island in the morning before visiting Rábida in the afternoon. Visit to a salt water lagoon rich in wildlife and vegetation and see a large sea lion colony.
Day 7 Sullivan/ Bartolomé (B,L,D)
Visit Sullivan Bay and Bartolomé Island for a guided lecture to see the dramatic volcanic features. Hike along a lava trail and to a panoramic volcano viewpoint. Free time for swimming or snorkeling.
Day 8 South Plazas/ Santa Fé (B,L,D)
Land at South Plaza in the morning for wildlife spotting opportunities. Afternoon visit to Santa Fé Island for guided walks to observe the wildlife and plentiful marine iguanas. Opportunities for swimming and snorkeling with the sea lions.
Day 9 North Seymour/Quito (B)
Visit to North Seymour to spot birds and wildlife before disembarking at Baltra for the flight back to Quito.
