Climb aboard the comfortable Estrella del Mar for seven nights of in-depth exploration of the Galápagos including the less visited western islands. You'll witness a nesting site for the flightless cormorant on Isabela Island, hike the Sierra Negra volcano, and catch great views amidst the largest colony of marine iguanas on Fernandina Island, the youngest in the archipelago. With air-conditioned cabins – all featuring private baths and views to the ocean – and included snorkelling equipment, this will be a trip you'll never forget.

Day 1 Quito

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Baltra Island & Santa Cruz (1B, 1L, 1D)

Early flight to Baltra. Meet your guide and transfer to the ship. Spend the afternoon in the highlands seeing giant tortoises in the wild and exploring lava tunnels

Day 3 Chinese Hat and Rabida Islands (1B,1L,1D)

Morning: Spend the morning exploring lava flows and lava tunnels the small island of Chinese Hat. Before diving into the turquoise water to cool off and search for fish and sea turtles in the protected bay
Afternoon: Explore the red sand beaches and salt water lagoons of this tiny islands. We will look for wading flamingos and nesting pelicans before sending some time in the water snorkeling

Day 4 Isla Santiago (1B,1L,1D)

Morning: Witness the towering cliffs of Buccaneer Cove and keep an eye out for the hundreds of birds nesting on the edge
Afternoon: Land at Puerto Egas home to the elusive Galapagos Hawk. Visit the salt crater as well as a dark-sand beach and tidal pools.

Day 5 Fernandina Island & Isabela Island (1B,1L,1D)

Morning: Visit Punta Espinoza on Fernandina, the youngest in the Galápagos Islands. Witness the largest colony of marine iguanas and a variety of bird life.
Afternoon: Urbina bay is located at the base of the Alcedo volcano. Hike the trail to get a view of the caldera watching for land iguanas along the way

Day 6 Isabela Island (1B,1L,1D)

Morning: Elizabeth Bay offers amazing bird and sea life viewing opportunities. Embark the panga's and explore the shallows and mangroves watching to sea turtles and penguins
Afternoon: Landing at Punta Moreno on the southwest coast of Isabela to see the lava formations, flamingos, and amazing views of the three most active volcanoes in the Galápagos Islands

Day 7 Isabela Island (1B,1L,1D)

Morning: Early landing in the small town Puerto Villamil before beginning the hike of the Sierra Negra volcano, which has the largest basaltic caldera in the Galápagos
Afternoon:Visit Las Tintoreras, one of the best places to see sharks and other marine wildlife and choose to visits the wet lands, the Wall of Tears, and the tortoise breeding centre in the Puerto Villamil area.

Day 8 Santa Cruz (1B,1L,1D)

Morning: Take the morning to explore Puerto Ayora, the largest town in the Galapagos. Visit the Darwin Centre, do some shopping and see how the local people live in the islands
Afternoon: After lunch onboard hike to the beautiful beat at Tortuga Bay. Choose to relax in the white sand or rent a kayak and search for rays and turtles in the shallows

Day 9 San Cristobal & Quito(1B)

Disembark early and visit the San Cristóbal Interpretation Center on the island before flying back to Quito. Enjoy a final evening in Quito
