Day 1 Addis Ababa

Arrive at any time, an arrival transfer is included.

Day 2 Bahir Dar (1B)

Fly to Bahir Dar. Opt to wander through the Bahir Dar market. Enjoy an excursion to the Blue Nile Falls.

Days 3-4 Gondar (2B)

Take a boat trip on Lake Tana, visit Ura Kidane Mehret, and the Kibran Gabriel (men only) and Entos Yesus (women only) monasteries. Visit Fasiladas' castles, bath and gardens before going to the Debre Birhan Selassie Church.

Days 5-6 Simien Mountains (2B)

Visit Simien Mountains National Park, take guided excursions around Sankaber campsite, the Jinbar waterfalls and Chenek campsite.

Day 7 Gondar (1B)

Visit the Ploughshare Women's Association and Kusquam, the Queen Mentawab's residence.

Days 8-10 Lalibela (3B)

Visit Lasta Massif, take a guided tour of Lalibela historical sites, including St George Church, Yemrehana Kristos, and other rock-hewn churches. Take an optional hike to Asheton Maryam on morning of Day 10.

Days 11-12 Mekele/Hawzien (2B)

Enjoy the scenic views en route to Mekele on Day 11. Take a short tour of Mekele and Abraha Atsbera en route to Hawzien. Enjoy an optional afternoon walk to visit Debre Tsion Abraham or Abuna Yamata on Day 12.

Days 13-14 Axum (2B)

Visit Maryam Korkor and Yeha en route to Axum. Enjoy guided tours of Axum's archaeological sites and Axum Tsion church.

Day 15 Addis Ababa (1B)

Morning flight to Addis Ababa. Tour ends upon arrival, please book any ongoing travel after 3pm today.
