Explore colonial Paraty, and opt to chill on the beach, visit a cachaça distillery or a take boat tour of the bay.
Skipping the long bus ride, travel to Sao Paulo and fly from there to Iguassu. Explore both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the falls with an optional boat ride near the base of the falls. Overnight bus on Day 9.
Dive into Uruguayan rural life and get dirty at a working ranch. Head out for hikes and indulge in local barbeques and wine.
In Uruguay's capital, visit the carnival museum and grab a snack at the local Port Market. Explore the cobblestone streets of Colonia and relax at a streetside café.
