Day 1 Rio de Janeiro

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-4 Ilha Grande (1B)

Free time to hike and explore the island's beaches or take an optional boat tour.

Day 5-6 Paraty (1B)

Explore colonial Paraty, and opt to chill on the beach, visit a cachaça distillery or a take boat tour of the bay.

Day 7-9 Iguassu Falls (1B)

Skipping the long bus ride, travel to São Paulo and fly to Iguassu. Explore both the Argentine and Brazilian sides of the falls, and take an optional boat ride near the base of the falls. Overnight bus to Uruguay.

Day 10-11 Estancia Stay (1B,2L,2D)

Dive into Uruguayan rural life. Get dirty at a working ranch, head for hikes, and indulge in local barbecues and wine.

Day 12-14 Montevideo/Colonia (3B)

In Uruguay's capital, opt to visit the carnival museum and grab a snack at the local Port Market. Explore the cobblestone streets of Colonia and relax at a streetside café.

Day 15-16 Buenos Aires

Cross the Río Plata and explore the many attractions. Check out a football game, a tango show or the city's famous nightlife.
