Many visitors to Southeast Asia spend much of their time rushing around clogged city streets. Break free and see the region from a bicycle seat on this 12-day trip. You'll roll past the temples of stunning Angkor Wat, cruise around Phnom Penh, and enjoy the villages and rural life around Siem Reap. Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City

Arrive at any time.

Day 2 Ben Tre (1B)

After a short transfer to the Cu Chi district, cycle the backroads to the Cu Chi tunnels. Transfer to Ben Tre, an area made up of 3 islands in the heart of the Mekong Delta.

Day 3 Tra On (1B,1D)

Enjoy an early breakfast in the local market, before a boat ride to explore the local area. Continue the day cycling alongside the Mekong River, stopping to enjoy delicious fruit along the way. In the evening, stay in a traditional homestay with a local Vietnamese family.

Day 4 Chau Doc (1B)

One last day in the Mekong Delta today. With more time to explore the local markets this morning, end up at the chaotic main market near Can Tho. Returning to the mainland for the afternoon, cycle through the almost traffic-free canal paths, before a short transfer to Chan Doc.

Day 5 Phnom Penh (1B)

Transfer to Phnom Penh. After crossing the Cambodian border, there is an optional visit to Choeung Ek. Continue on to Phnom Penh for the afternoon.

Day 6 Phnom Penh/Oudong Trail (1B)

Start early this morning to cycle along the Oudong Trail. The route begins along the railway tracks, before rolling out into the countryside, and continuing through rice paddies and villages to Oudong Mountain. Visit the temple and enjoy the views from the mountain before transferring back to Phnom Penh.

Day 7 Siem Reap (1B)

Cycle around the Mekong Islands in the morning, enjoying village communities, orchards, temples and silk weaving workshops, to get a unique perspective on Phnom Penh. In the afternoon transfer to Siem Reap, capital of the Khmer Empire.

Day 8 Siem Reap (1B)

Start out by bike early to arrive at the Angkor Wat site for sunrise and watch the sun come up over the incredible ruins. This early start means time to explore the site in relative calm before breakfast. Then cycle through villages and backroads to get back to Siem Reap

Day 9 Siem Reap (1B)

The Tonle Sap Lake is the largest in South East Asia. Ride along tracks and trails to reach the lake today. Visit the floating communities who live on the lake, before cycling further to see the birdlife in the area before returning to Siem Reap.

Day 10 Siem Reap (1B)

Free day to explore more of the Angkor Wat complex and surrounding area.

Day 11 Bangkok (1B)

Transfer from Siem Reap to Thailand's thriving capital city.

Day 12 Bangkok (1B)

Depart at any time.
