Day 1 Bangkok

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-3 Siem Reap/Angkor Wat (2B,1D)

Guided tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex. Enjoy a delicious Khmer meal at a Planeterra project or with a local family in a village outside of Siem Reap (depends on the departure).

Day 4-5 Phnom Penh (2B)

Orientation walk around Phnom Penh. Option to visit the Tuol Sleng Prison and the Killing Fields.

Day 6-7 Sihanoukville (1B)

Swim and relax by the beach, or take an optional snorkelling trip.

Day 8 Mekong Delta (1D)

Cross the border to Vietnam. Overnight at a local village homestay. Opt to cruise the Mekong on a boat trip.

Day 9-10 Ho Chi Minh City (2B)

Enjoy one of many street food crawls with the group and CEO while here. Option to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, War Remnants Museum, Colonial Quarter or go shopping in the Ben Thanh Market. Overnight train to Nha Trang.

Day 11-12 Nha Trang (1B)

Free time to go snorkelling, visit mud baths, tour the area by motorbike or relax by the beach. Overnight train to Hoi An.

Day 13-14 Hoi An (1B)

Free time to take a cooking class, cycle to the beach, visit the tailors, or explore the old town. Or opt to make your own Vietnamese lantern through a Planeterra-supported project.

Day 15-16 Hue (2B)

Opt to visit the Royal Citadel and tombs, take a Perfume River cruise or tour the countryside by motorbike. Overnight train to Hanoi.

Day 17 Halong Bay/Bai Chai Harbour (1L)

Visit Halong Bay for a seafood lunch cruise and a cave visit.

Day 18-19 Hanoi (2B)

Explore Hanoi with an orientation walk through the Old Quarter. Opt to visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and the Hoa Lo Prison, or shop in the Old Quarter.

Day 20 Vientiane (1B)

A short flight brings the group to the capital city of Laos. Opt to visit temples, see the golden stupa of That Luang, or scour the markets.

Day 21-22 Vang Vieng (2B)

Enjoy the beautiful limestone karsts surrounding Vang Vieng. Free time to hike, bike, swim or go caving.

Day 23-24 Luang Prabang (2B)

Witness the giving of alms to the Buddhist monks and visit the night market. Opt to take a cooking class, visit temples or cool off at Kuang Si Waterfalls.

Day 25 Mekong River (1B,1D)

Cruise the Mekong on a long houseboat before arriving to a village homestay for the night.

Day 26 Chiang Khong (1B,1L)

Mekong River travel day. Cross into Thailand.

Day 27-28 Chiang Mai

Opt to visit Doi Suthep temple, catch a Thai boxing match or grab a bargain at the famous night market. Overnight train to Bangkok (flight and extra night in Chiang Mai during monsoon season, depending on conditions).

Day 29 Bangkok

Opt to visit Wat Po and the Grand Palace, buy any last minute souvenirs or relax with a Thai massage.

Day 30 Bangkok (1B)

Depart at any time.
