Connecting the Andes to the Atlantic, you'll journey across the surreal landscapes of the Atacama Desert and the Uyuni Salt Flats, feel like a sophisticate as you sip wine in Buenos Aires and pull back the curtain on the centre of the continent. Day 1 La Paz

Arrive at any time.

Day 2-4 La Paz/Sucre

Free day in La Paz before boarding an overnight bus to Sucre on Day 2. Take an optional excursion to nearby dinosaur tracks, explore the city or go hiking or mountain biking.

Day 5-6 Potosi

Optional tour to a working silver mine or explore the city, visit the Casa de la Moneda museum.

Day 7-9 Uyuni/Salt Flats excursion (2B,2L,2D)

Three day 4x4 excursion to the Uyuni Salt Flats and surrounding desert altiplano with spectacular scenery.

Day 10-11 San Pedro de Atacama

Cross by 4x4 into Chile and descend by bus to San Pedro de Atacama. Opt to go to nearby ruins, go mountain biking or visit the Valley of the Moon.

Day 12-13 Salta

Optional activities include a trip through the scenic Quebrada de las Conchas to Cafayate, visiting the High Mountain Arqueological Museum, exploring the city and surroundings and enjoying the local cuisine.

Day 14 Buenos Aires

Avoid a long bus journey with a quick flight to Buenos Aires. Optional city tour, then free time to explore the many attractions and museums and maybe even a tango show.
