“I see London! I see France! I see…” Uh, let’s just leave it there, shall we? Europe’s two preeminent capitals await you and the kids on this short-and-sweet sojourn in London and Paris. Culture and exploration are the main attractions here with time to stop and marvel at the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower, but there’s plenty more than just history on the bill here. Ride a double-decker bus through London, learn the finer points of French cooking and wrap it all up with a sunset cruise down the Seine. What a week!
This trip is designed for parents and children to enjoy together. You will be travelling as part of a group of families with other children. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind. We have given this trip a minimum age for this trip to allow you to be sure that you have the right trip for you and your family. Minimum age of 4 years for this trip. Arrive at any time. Opt to get to know each other over a delicious meal in central London.
Take a full day to sightsee around London. We take an orientation walk through the streets of London town before an afternoon rowing and eating ice cream in Hyde Park.
Visit the Tower of London and enjoy a medieval banquet this evening.
Day trip to Kent to visit Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Enjoy the water maze and the yew maze in the adventure playground. Train back to London.
Transfer to St Pancras to board the Eurostar to Paris. Why not head out this evening for a first taste of France with an optional group dinner. Try some traditional French cuisine, a great chance for the kids to try something a little different!
Enjoy a half-day orientation walk including a game of boules and local market visit, top it off with an unforgettable picnic under the Eiffel Tower. In the afternoon, the kids will learn some basics of French cuisine with a fun cooking class.
In the morning, take the 'Petit Train' narrow guage railway to the 19th century fun park, Jardin d'Acclimatation. In the evening, enjoy a boat trip along the Seine.
