This excellent whirlwind tour of Europe for younger travellers reads like a greatest-hits compilation of classic Europe experiences: The bustle of busy London, cultural exploration in the French capital, postcard-worthy scenery in Switzerland, trekking in Cinque Terre and a frosty mug of Pilsner in an authentic Czech hospoda at the end of it all.

Day 1 London

Meet in London before departing for Paris on an overnight bus.

Day 2 Paris (1L)

Picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower; option to visit the Louvre or explore Montmartre.

Day 3-5 Interlaken

Morning in Paris, then travel to Switzerland. See what's up on an orientation walk through town. Explore the hills, lakes, or many cafes and bars of this quaint town filled with active pursuits.

Day 6 Milan

Strut your stuff on an included orientation walk of Milan. Overnight train to Rome.

Day 7-8 Rome

Opt to visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican or Pantheon. Don't forget the great pizza, wine and nightlife.

Day 9-11 Viareggio (Tuscany)

Using Tuscany as a base, explore the region with included day trips to Pisa, Cinque Terre, and Florence. Head for an evening stroll to Piazzale Michelangelo for views over Florence.

Day 12-13 Venice

Orientation walk through the city. Optional activities include a water bus trip to Murano and Burano, Accademia Gallery, Campanile San Marco and Doge's Palace. Overnight train on Day 13.

Day 14-15 Vienna

Free time to wander the imperial streets of Austria’s capital, with its grand buildings, gardens, museums, and tasty pilsner. Option to see the Lipizzaner 'dancing' horses.

Day 16 Prague

See the sites on an orientation tour including a visit to a genuine beer hall. Explore on your own—check out the Prague castle complex or head out for a last evening on the town.

Day 17 Prague

Depart at any time.
